Do we need to meet prior to quoting on my site?
No, however we will need to have indepth information about your business discussion about your business. We’ll need to learn as much about your business as possible before submitting our proposal. Once we’ve spoken, we’ll do our own research and obtain as much relevant information as possible to help us provide you with the best possible solutions.
How do I give you the information for the Design Brief?
Once you’ve decided to go ahead with our proposal, we’ll send you a comprehensive questionnaire that will enable us to commence your project.

This is where the magic happens! With the information you gave us in Step 1, we’ll get to work designing and building your site.

What’s involved in the design and build phase?
Discovery
- Development of a sitemap and interactive prototype so that all functionalities can be tested and approved in the browser.
Design
- Design of website user experience and user interface to allow the target audience to easily navigate and use the website to achieve their needs.
Development
- Development of working website on the WordPress or Shopify platform.
Testing
- Final testing and debugging on development server to ensure site is fully functional.
Will my website be mobile responsive?
We take particular care to ensure our sites are mobile responsive on both mobile phones and tablets.
Do you write content?
Yes, in fact most of our builds contain some elements of content written by us, even if you have provided all the content yourself.
We know what works with search engine optimisation (SEO), therefore we’ll usually add our own content to further enhance your site for optimal Google search engine results page (SERP) ranking.
If you don’t have any of your own content, don’t worry, we can write your entire website’s content if needed.

What input do I have during this phase?
We’ll be updating you along the way and we’ll give you access to your staged site to see how it’s progressing. And remember, we’re only a phone call away.
How many changes am I entitled to?
Generally, we allow for up to 2 edit opportunities per page. You can change your mind as many times as you like, however standard hourly charges will apply.
Why is WordPress your preferred platform?
Well, WordPress is great for clients to maintain without knowing any coding. Although daunting for some in the initial setup phase, it really is quite easy to use. And it’s so versatile, you can build just about anything with it.
One of our goals in website design is to build sites that our clients can edit if they choose to do so. Many competing platforms claim to have amazing drag and drop editors that make building your own site a breeze, however they are generally weaker in SEO functionality and can have limited design capabilities.
The thing we like most about WordPress is that it’s SEO friendly. Search engines really, really like WordPress. It optimises well straight out of the box, however you can get some great plugins to make it even more awesome.

Will you maintain my website?
Of course we can maintain your site. Although we design our sites for easy editing and maintenance by the owner, we can also look after all the back end biz for you. We’re happy to discuss our maintenance plans at any stage of our journey together.
What about website hosting?
We’re more than happy to host your website through our WordPress Managed Host and can bundle your hosting with our care plans. Essentially, we provide ‘set and forget’ options that will remove any concerns about keeping your site live and up to date.
Of course, you can source your own web host, we’ll ensure your site is transferred to that host during launch.
