Background

Dare is a specialist waxing and tanning salon based in Cairns and they have recently expanded their product range to include an online shop, including tanning dresses and tanning products.

Dare Waxing & Tanning approached us help them develop the following objectives:

  • Increase awareness of online shop
  • Redesign a modern, effective website design to showcase their Cairns waxing and tanning salon
  • Provide a seamless transition to their e-commerce platform
  • Increase Google ranking for specified keywords

Tasks

As with any Cairns website design with a search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy, we incorporated our effective competitor analysis and key search term list as part of our content planning. Incorporating this with the client’s choice of style guide, we created our website design to be easy to navigate, with clear calls to action on all pages.

While the salon is a local Cairns business and needed to be optimised as such, their online shop needed to be represented on a broader scale. The website was built with this in mind, including optimising content, image tags and meta tags on all pages.
