Background
FNQ All Stone Memorials recently launched a new Cairns web design, provided by an interstate web developer. Unfortunately, their website fnqallstone.com failed to gain site traffic due to limited search engine optimisation (SEO). Furthermore, there was a concern that the web design colour scheme was too similar to that of a close local competitor.
FNQ All Stone Memorials approached us to develop and action an effective Cairns SEO strategy with a view to obtaining multiple page one search engine results page (SERP) rankings. We were also asked to edit their current Cairns web design to reflect the need for a unique, stand-out website.
Tasks
We implemented our local Cairns SEO strategy and optimised all published web pages for service-specific key search terms. This included text editing, content creation, optimising meta tags, image file names and alt text descriptions.
Cairns web design changes included background colour and icon colour redesign. We also implemented contact form security and general site security measures as a result of unwanted spam.
A Google Ads campaign was launched once the SEO Cairns strategy had been implemented.
Outcomes
FNQ All Stone Memorials is currently enjoying a page one Google SERP ranking for 7 organic key search terms, with 2 of those keywords sitting in position 1.
We continue to work with FNQ All Stone Memorials to further improve their key search term rankings.
